Zusammenfassung

In der medizinisch-therapeutischen Literatur wird häufig der Standpunkt geäußert, dass das Training in der geschlossenen kinetischen Kette (CKC) dem der offenen kinetischen Kette (OKC) vorzuziehen ist. In der Tat scheint es so, dass das Training in der CKC in einigen Aspekten die Wirksamkeit des OKC-Trainings übertrifft. Der effektivste Ansatz scheint jedoch der zu sein, beide Trainingsformen gemeinsam einzusetzen, und die Diskussion um die CKC und OKC nicht generalisiert, sondern angepasst an die individuellen Bedürfnisse, zu führen. Allerdings muss darauf hingewiesen werden, dass die Definition der beiden Systeme je nach Autor extrem variieren kann, weswegen Vorsicht im Umgang mit ihnen geboten ist.

Summary

Many physicians believe that exercises in the closed kinetic chain are advantageous compared with exercises in the open kinetic chain. Indeed, it seems that the CKC might be slightly more beneficial. However, the most effective approach lays within a combination of both systems. In addition, caution is required in case of the definitions of the CKC and the OKC, which may vary tremendously, depending on the author.
