Ziel der vorgestellten GeliS-Studie ist es, Frauen im Rahmen der üblichen Schwangerenbetreuung über richtige Ernährung und Bewegung zu beraten sowie einen gesundheitsförderlichen Lebensstil zu unterstützen. Damit sollen gesundheitliche Risiken für Mutter und Kind minimiert und zugleich kindlichem und mütterlichem Übergewicht vorgebeugt werden.
