Vorhofohr-Okkluder als Alternative zur Antikoagulation

Zusammenfassung

Die interventionelle Kardiologie entwickelte sich in den letzten Jahren erheblich weiter, insbesondere im Bereich der Interventionen struktureller Erkrankungen wie z. B. dem Aortenklappenersatz (TAVI), Verfahren zur Behandlung schwerer Mitralklappeninsuffizienzen, dem Verschluss von Vorhof- bzw. Kammerscheidewanddefekten und vielem mehr. Seit einigen Jahren werden in stark wachsender Anzahl auch interventionelle Vorhofohrverschlüsse bei Patienten mit Vorhofflimmern zur Schlaganfallprophylaxe vorgenommen. Wir stellen dieses Verfahren näher vor.
