Behandlung von Blutungen mit gecoverten Stents

Zusammenfassung

Der Einsatz von gecoverten Stent-Systemen stellt eine wichtige Säule des endovaskulären Managements akuter arterieller Blutungen unterschiedlicher Ätiologie dar. Die Implantation dieser Stents zielt dabei auf die Abdichtung eines blutenden Gefäßsegments unter Aufrechterhaltung des Perfusionsstroms in die Peripherie ab. Dieser Beitrag erläutert im Hinblick auf die arterielle Blutstillung Indikationen, technische Umsetzung, Besonderheiten und Einschränkungen dieser Therapieoption. Zudem veranschaulichen Bildbeispiele die Praktikabilität dieser endovaskulären Technik. Zuletzt werden die limitierenden Faktoren für den Einsatz gecoverter Stents kritisch diskutiert.
