In der Fachwelt ist unbestritten, dass die Digitalisierung von Praxisvorgängen und die Computerunterstützung von Behandlungsabläufen in der Zahnarztpraxis angekommen sind. Diese Entwicklung hat in der Zahnmedizin besonders die Datenerfassung von Gebisssituationen und die digital gesteuerte Fertigung von vollkeramischen Restaurationen vorangetrieben.
