Zusammenfassung

Rheumatische und arthrotische Gelenkerkrankungen sind schulmedizinisch oft nicht befriedigend behandelbar, zumal die entsprechenden Medikamente mit z. T. erheblichen Nebenwirkungen behaftet und kostenintensiv sind. Eine gute komplementärtherapeutische Option ist das Heilfasten nach Buchinger. Die Übersicht fasst die schulmedizinischen Optionen zusammen, zeigt die nachweislich positiven Effekte des Heilfastens anhand der aktuellen Studienlage sowie die praktischen Aspekte des Heilfastens auf.

Abstract

Often, rheumatic and arthrotic joint diseases can not be treated satisfactorily with orthodox medicine, particularly as some of the respective drugs show considerable side effects and are cost-intensive. A good complementary therapeutic option is the fasting cure according to Buchinger. The overview summarizes the options of orthodox medicine, shows the proven positive effects of the fasting cure with the help of the actual situation of studies as well as the practical aspects of the fasting cure.
