Significance

An efficient one-pot tandem reaction of the oxidation of primary alcohols and the asymmetric α-oxyamination using a resin-­supported peptide and CuCl was described. The tandem reaction of primary alcohols 2a-g with TEMPO, the resin-supported peptide 1, CuCl, and 2,2′-bipyridine followed by reduction with NaBH4 gave the corresponding oxyaminated products 3a-g.
