ESGE Quality in Endoscopy: ERCP Symposium

It is our pleasure to announce the first symposium in this monothematic series in which ESGE is joining forces with the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL).

The faculty consists mainly of young academic and non-academic ”rising stars”. ESGE feels strongly about involving junior faculty to lower the threshold for discussions and at the same time offering younger colleagues an opportunity to present and prove themselves as teachers. Leaders in this field are naturally also invited as faculty in order to ensure that learning objectives are reached and to structure the discussions.

Thus ESGE aims to provide young promising people with state of the art knowledge on different topics concerning quality in endoscopy through interactive participation to increase the learning effect. Discussion of the background, indications and implications of specific patient groups will be included as well as complications of the techniques and their treatment.
