Abstract

Petals from the hybrid tea rose 'Lady Seton' have been selected at various stages of maturation and examined by electron microscopy. The ultrastructural changes taking place during maturation and their relationship with the production of essential oils are discussed.

Zusammenfassung

Die Blütenblätter der Teerose wurden in verschiedenen Entwicklungsstadien elektronenmikroskopisch untersucht. Die Veränderungen in der Feinstruktur und ihre Beziehungen zur Bildung des ätherischen Öls werden diskutiert.
