Summary

Profound and prolonged hyperventilation has been found not to impair the blood brain barrier and alternative mechanisms of neuronal dysfunction during hyperventilation are suggested.

Zusammenfassung

Tiefe und langanhaltende Hyperventilation führt nicht zum Zusammenbruch der Blut-Hirnschranke; für die neuronale Funktionsstörung während der Hyperventilation werden andere Mechanismen verantwortlich gemacht.

Résumé

Une hyperventilation profonde et de longue durée ne détermine pas d'effondrement de la barrière hémato-encephalique. Évocation d'autres mécanismes responsables des troubles fonctionnels neuroniques.
