Der Leser sollte nach dem Durcharbeiten des Artikels

  • die allgemeinen Voraussetzungen für die regenerative Parodontaltherapie kennen,

  • die Indikationen der regenerativen Parodontaltherapie beachten können,

  • über die relativen Kontraindikationen der chirurgischen Parodontaltherapie Bescheid wissen,

  • verschiedene regenerative Behandlungsverfahren mit unterschiedlichen Materialien (Barrieren, Knochenersatzmaterialien, Schmelz–Matrix–Proteine) kennen und die verschiedenen regenerativen Potenziale im Vergleich zu konventionellen Lappenoperationen bewerten können.
