Aktualisierung der Leitlinie „Family-Centered Care for Adult ICUs“

Die Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) aktualisierte im Februar 2025 ihre Leitlinie zur familienzentrierten Intensivversorgung. Die Empfehlungen decken zentrale Aspekte von Familienbeteiligung, Bedürfnisunterstützung, Kommunikation und Teamressourcen ab und sollen Angehörigen eine bedeutsame Rolle im Genesungsprozess eröffnen. Für den deutschsprachigen Raum ist besonders relevant, dass die Inhalte weitgehend mit den Kriterien des DGF-Zertifikats „Angehörigenfreundliche Intensivstation“ übereinstimmen, während der Besuch von Kindern in der aktuellen Version keine Erwähnung findet – ein Aspekt, der in den DACH-Ländern als besonders wichtig angesehen wird.
