Trägt der Magnesiumgehalt im Trinkwasser zur Gesundheit bei?

Summary

Magnesium wird in ausreichender Menge für die Gesunderhaltung des Körpers benötigt. Fehlt Magnesium, ist das Risiko für Herzerkrankungen, Krebs oder Diabetes mellitus erhöht. Magnesium wird jedoch nicht nur über die Nahrung, sondern auch über das Trinkwasser aufgenommen. Studien zeigen, dass eine geringe „Wasserhärte“ bzw. ein niedriger Magnesiumgehalt im Leitungswasser die Inzidenz verschiedener Erkrankungen erhöhen kann.
