Zusammenfassung

Durch den demografischen Wandel wird die Anzahl von Pflegeheimbewohnern in der Zukunft weiter ansteigen. Die Heimbewohner weisen eine extrem niedrige körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit auf, welche durch gezielte bewegungstherapeutische Maßnahmen adressiert werden kann. Insbesondere die konditionellen Fähigkeiten sind auch bei Hochbetagten gut trainierbar. Für die Zukunft müssen die Pflegeheime dringend auf körperliches Training und Bewegungsförderungsmaßnahmen zurückgreifen.

Abstract

Due to demographic change, the number of nursing home residents will continue to increase in the future. The home residents have an extremely low level of physical performance, which can be addressed through targeted exercise therapy measures. In particular, the conditional skills are easy to train even in the case of very old residents. For the future, the nursing homes urgently need to resort to physical training and physical activity promotion measures.
