Perkutane lokal-ablative Therapieverfahren spielen im Behandlungsalgorithmus des hepatozellulären Karzinoms eine wichtige Rolle. Infolge der Komplexität der klinischen Gesamtsituation – mit häufig zugrunde liegender Leberzirrhose und folglich limitierten Möglichkeiten einer operativen Resektion – stellen die loko-regionären Verfahren eine wirksame und potenziell kurative Therapieoption dar.
