Einleitung

Das

Frakturen in der Nähe oder mit Beteiligung des Kniegelenks sind immer schwere Verletzungen dieser komplexen knöchernen und kapsuloligamentären Anatomie.

Eine konservative Behandlung ist nur bei undislozierten, stabilen Frakturen möglich. Dislozierte und instabile Frakturen erfordern eine operative Stabilisierung.

Kniegelenk verfügt über eine komplexe knöcherne und kapsuloligamentäre Anatomie und weist die längsten Hebelarme des menschlichen Körpers auf. Kniegelenksnahe und kniegelenksbeteiligende Frakturen sind immer schwere Verletzungen dieses komplexen Systems. Die konservative Therapie eignet sich nur bei undislozierten und stabilen Frakturen, während alle dislozierten und instabilen Frakturformen einer operativen Stabilisierung bedürfen. Die operative Behandlung von Tibiakopffrakturen ist anspruchsvoll. Wesentliche Erfolgskriterien sind:

stufenlose Rekonstruktion der Gelenkflächen, Wiederherstellung der Achsenverhältnisse, Bandstabilität, suffiziente Weichteildeckung.

Die Versorgung der vielfältigen Varianten von Tibiakopffrakturen erfordert spezielle Zugangswege.

Komplexität und Morphologievielfalt von Tibiakopffrakturen erfordert bei der operativen Versorgung häufig spezielle Zugangswege. Dabei gilt es jedoch, das chirurgische Trauma und die Qualität der Rekonstruktion in das richtige Verhältnis zu setzen.

Der folgende Beitrag gibt eine Übersicht über die verschiedenen Frakturtypen am Tibiakopf und deren Behandlung.
