Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung von Schmerzen spielt in der Physiotherapie eine wichtige Rolle. Die Komplexität der mit Schmerz verbundenen physiologischen Mechanismen erfordert einen umfassenden Therapieansatz. Die vorliegende Arbeit diskutiert die aktuelle, für die Physiotherapie relevante Neuromatrix-Theorie des Schmerzes.

Abstract

Pain management plays a vital role in physiotherapy. The complexity of the physiological mechanisms associated with pain demand a comprehensive therapy approach. This article discusses the current neuromatrix theory of pain relevant for physiotherapy.
