Hämoclips als Zubehör für die flexible gastroenterologische Endoskopie wurden bereits in den 70er Jahren entwickelt. Erstmals war der Hämoclip (HX-600 und HX-200, Olympus) in den 80er Jahren kommerziell erhältlich, fand aber erst in den neunziger Jahren weitere Verbreitung. Prospektive Studien zeigten die Effektivität dieses Systems in der endoskopischen Blutstillung . Seit 2004 stehen nach der Präsentation des Triclip® (Wilson & Cook) und dem Resolution®-Clip (Boston Scientific) weitere effektive Clip-Systeme zur Verfügung. Klinische Daten liegen derzeit nur zu dem etablierten HX-600 Clip (Olympus) vor. Vergleiche mit den beiden neueren Clip-Systemen (Triclip®, Resolution-Clip®) existieren bisher nur in Form von experimentellen Studien, die aber vergleichbare Effektivität der verschiedenen Systeme erbrachten. Die vorliegende Arbeit gibt einen kurzen Überblick über experimentelle und klinische Daten zur Clip-Applikation bei der Endoskopischen Blutstillung und stellt die auf dem Markt befindlichen Systeme kurz vor.
