Zusammenfassung
Die chinesische Medizin stellt ein eigenständiges wissenschaftliches System dar. Der
wissenschaftliche Ansatz der TCM unterscheidet sich jedoch von der westlichen Medizin.
Er basiert auf der Vorstellung eines immateriellen Lebensprinzips und setzt eine Kraft
Qi voraus, die den Körper belebt und ihm Lebensempfindungen verleiht. Die Begriffe
der TCM werden nach neueren Erkenntnissen nicht mehr als philosophisch-mystische Begriffe
verstanden, sondern als technische Begriffe der Regulationslehre. Mit der Sprache
der chinesischen Medizin werden nämlich Phänomene beschrieben, die regulierend auf
die Regulationsprozesse einwirken.
Summary
Chinese Medicine constitutes an independent scientific system. However, the TCM scientific
approach is different from orthodox medicine. TCM is based on the notion of immaterial
life principles under the precondition that the body is livened and endowed with life
sensation by the Qi force. According to the current state of knowledge, the TCM concept
is no longer a philosophical and mystical idea but a technical term in the regulation
theory context. TCM jargon is useful in describing phenomena which act on the regulation
process in a regulating manner.
