Sonographischer Nachweis eines vom Hüftgelenk ausgehenden zystischen Tumors (Bursitis iliopectinea)

Zusammenfassung

Bei Weichteiltumoren der Hüftgegend kann die Sonographie mit dem 5-MHz-Schallkopf zur Klärung der Diagnose entscheidend beitragen. Im vorliegenden Fall konnte die Fehldiagnose einer Schenkelhernie korrigiert werden und die Diagnose eines zystischen Tumors mit Verbindung zum Hüftgelenk gestellt werden (Bursitis iliopectinea). Die Diagnose wurde operativ und histologisch bestätigt.

Abstract

In tumors of the soft parts of the hip area, sonography can contribute decisively to clarify the diagnosis by using the 5 mHz sound head for exploration. In the case reported here it was possible to correct the wrong diagnosis of femoral hernia and to establish the diagnosis of a cystic tumour communicating with the hip joint (iliopectineal bursitis). The diagnosis was confirmed both by Operation and by histological examination.
