Erwachsenenbehandlung: Kombiniert kieferorthopädisch-kieferchirurgisch-prothetische Behandlung

Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine kombiniert kieferorthopädisch-kieferchirurgisch-prothetische Behandlung beschrieben. Die Zahnbewegungen wurden z. T. an Implantaten verankert durchgeführt. In einer Zeit, in der die Erwachsenenbehandlung an Bedeutung gewinnt, zeigt der beschriebene Fall, dass bei entsprechender interdisziplinärer Planung und Zusammenarbeit auch Patienten mit komplexen zahnmedizinischen Problemen geholfen werden kann.

Abstract

A combined orthodontic surgical and prosthodontic treatment is described. Implants provided anchorage for tooth movements. In times where treatment of adults becomes more and more important the case shows that with adequate interdisciplinary planning and interaction patients with multidisciplinary problems can be helped.
