Ethische Überlegungen zur Anwendung manipulativer Therapien in Altenpflegeheimen

Zusammenfassung

In den USA gibt es vier Grundprinzipien für ethische Entscheidungen, die grundlegend für die Ausübung der Medizin sind. Dieser Artikel unternimmt den Versuch, eine Übersicht über diese grundlegenden ethischen Prinzipien und ihre spezifische Anwendung in der osteopathischen Therapie bei Patienten in Altenpflegeheimen zu geben. Zusätzlich werden einige spezifische Überlegungen zur Forschung und osteopathischen manipulativen Therapie in Altenpflegeheimen erläutert.

Summary

There are four basic principles which are decisive when making the ethical decision to practice medicine. This article attempts to present an overview of these basic ethical principles and their specific application for osteopathic treatment of patients in nursing homes for the elderly. Additionally, some specific deliberations on research and osteopathic manipulative therapy in nursing homes are explained.

Réflexions éthiques autour de la pratique de thérapies manuelles dans les maisons médicalisées pour personnes âgées

Aux Etats-Unis, il existe quatre principes de base pour les décisions éthiques qui sont fondamentales pour l'exercice de la médecine. Cet article tente de donner un aperçu des principes éthiques fondamentaux et de leur pratique spécifique dans la thérapie ostéopathique chez les patients de maisons médicalisées pour personnes âgées. En outre, il sera donné quelques réflexions spécifiques à la recherche et à la thérapie ostéopathique manipulative dans ces maisons médicalisées.
