Zusammenfassung

Obwohl zervikale Radikulopathien in der Praxis häufig auftreten, existiert bisher nur wenig Literatur über ihre spezifische manualtherapeutische Behandlung. Dieses Review stellt kurz Anatomie und Pathophysiologie der zervikalen Nervenwurzel dar und gibt einen Überblick über die neuesten Forschungsergebnisse des manualtherapeutischen Managements.

Abstract

Although cervical radiculopathy is a common problem in the everyday practice, only few publications concerning its specific manual therapeutic treatment are available to date. This review gives a brief description of the cervical nerve root’s anatomy and pathophysiology as well as presenting an overview of recent research results of manual therapeutic management.
