Summary

What was Hahnemann's belief regarding miasms and how can this knowledge be used in clinical practice? In this article the importance of understanding a patient's dominant miasm is highlighted through using facial analysis. Many patients can be helped without the need to delve deeply into their mental state by using facial analysis as an objective tool. This situation is demonstrated with a case of a young autistic boy who came into the clinic with colds and a few months later was declared to be no longer autistic.
