Abstract
A twenty-five year old female patient presented with anogenital warts at 13 weeks'
gestation at our outpatient clinic. Clinical examination confirmed extensive soft,
fleshy condylomata acuminata in the hymenal area, the vagina and the perianal region.
She was treated systemically with a Thuja-mixture (Thuja-Oligoplex®, Madaus, Germany),
no surgical treatment or laser therapy was performed. At 30 weeks' gestation clinical
examination revealed an almost complete remission. There were only a few warts left
in the hymenal area. No relapse was reported until her uncomplicated vaginal delivery
in week 39. Her female child had a weight of 3300 g and the Apgar score was normal.
All further clinical examinations gave no sign of recrudescence.
