Dear Readers,
Harry van der Zee and Corrie Hiwat have already informed you in the last two issues
of LINKS about their motives for transferring the rights to publish LINKS to Sonntag
publisher; this is a decision we are very happy with.
MVS Medizinverlage Stuttgart and its imprints Sonntag, Haug and Hippokrates Publishers
have a long tradition in homoeopathy and have been dedicated to its development and
growth for more than 100 years. We have always seen ourselves as promoters of homoeopathy
and as a platform where homoeopaths can bring forward new ideas and discuss different
approaches to homoeopathy. Homœopathic Links is also dedicated to linking different
views, knowledge and homeopaths from around the world. So, when Harry and Corrie approached
us and asked if we were interested in taking off their shoulders the organizational
duties of publishing LINKS, we didn't hesitate. It was very clear that all of us share
common goals and we are all very excited about this chance to serve LINKS and its
readers.
We wish to encourage interaction and cooperation between all authors and hope that
those writers contributing to LINKS will bring a new input of ideas and projects to
homoeopathy and our homoeopathic progamme and thus to you, our readers.
Harry and Corrie will remain your LINKS editors and will be responsible for the content
of the issues. They will guarantee the continuance of the spirit of LINKS, which we
will support in every respect. But what will change?
One obvious change is the layout, as you will have already noticed. We have tried
to give LINKS a reader-friendly “look” and keep its warm character at the same time.
From 2005 onwards all subscribers to LINKS will have the chance to read the articles
published in LINKS online. LINKS will be integrated in Thieme-connect, the databank
that incorporates journals published by Thieme Publishing Group. Thieme-connect with
its very efficient retrieval function will help you to find the index, articles and
subjects from each issue starting with issue 1/2005 onwards that are of interest to
you. You will find it under: http://www.thieme-connect.com.
All information on LINKS can be found on the Internet at http://www.homeopathic-links.com. Here you can also take out an online subscription, check the index of former issues
(1987 - 2004), find the seminar calender, information about the editors, guidelines
for the submission of articles and order back issues.
We sincerely hope that you will like the new “look” and services of LINKS and trust
that you will find this very interesting new issue an enjoyable read.
Yours sincerely, Gabriele Müller Head of the editorial office Complementary and Alternative
Medicine
P. S. The distribution of LINKS will be organized by our bookseller Frohberg in Berlin.
Subscribers have already been sent the invoice for 2005. Unfortunately the possibility
to place your subscription online was not mentioned in the accompanying letter. So,
if you have not renewed your subscription yet, you may do so at http://www.homeopathic-links.com
or fill in the form that is included in this issue.
