Summary
Results from recent randomized trials show that fixation of acute distal radial fractures with Norian Skeletal Repair System (SRS) cement provides better clinical results and less posttreatment pain than conventional treatment. Small trials of redisplaced fractures suggest that Norian SRS may provide accelerated recovery of grip strength and mobility, but showed no difference in pain between treatments. Larger trials of redisplaced fractures are needed.
