The Digestive Disease Week meeting held in New Orleans in May 2004 was an interesting and rewarding one for research on endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS). This review discusses and comments on a few selected abstracts in detail; due to space limitations, a wide variety of other interesting abstracts are only listed under subject headings in the references.
