Zusammenfassung

Postoperative Infektionen gehören in der Chirurgie zu den häufigsten postoperativen Komplikationen.

Die Antibiotikatherapie ist eine wichtige Säule bei der Therapie dieser nosokomialen Infektionen. Aufgrund des veränderten Keimspektrums und der hohen Resistenzquoten haben mikrobiologische Diagnostik und Monitoring eine große Bedeutung.

Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über häufige postoperative Infektionen auf einer allgemeinchirurgischen Intensivtherapiestation und erläutert die entsprechend notwendige antibiotische Therapie.

Abstract

Postoperative infections are the most common complications alter surgery. The therapy with antibiotics is an important therapeutical part of these nosocomial infections.

A special selection of bacterial specimen and high rates of antibiotics-resistent germs make bacterioloical monitoring and diagnostics imperative.

In this article we give a survey of common infection and microbiological therapy an our surgical intensive care unit.
