Intra-abdominal lymphangioma - Case Report

Abstract.

Intra-abdominal lymphangiomas are very rare. We report the unusual case of a 4-year-old boy, who presented with acute abdominal symptoms due to intracystic hemorrhage following a blunt abdominal trauma. After the diagnostic management, the radical resection was done with a good outcome.

Intra-abdominelle Lymphangiome sind sehr seltene Erkrankungen. Wir berichten über einen ungewöhnlichen Fall eines vierjährigen Jungen, der mit akuten abdominellen Symptomen aufgrund einer intrazystischen Blutung nach einem abdominellen Trauma stationär aufgenommen wurde. Der Tumor wurde nach diagnostischer Abklärung in toto entfernt und der Patient erholte sich ohne Komplikationen.
