Abstract

Three new sesquiterpenoids were obtained from the leaves of Magnolia grandiflora L. Their structures were determined as 6α,11-dihydroxy-12,13-diacetoxyelem-1,3-diene, 4α, 6α,10α-trihydroxy-13-acetoxyguaia-11-ene, and 12,13-diacetoxyguaia-4α,6α,10α,11-tetraol on the basis of spectral evidence. In addition, the known sesquiterpenoid magnograndiolide was also obtained.
