Emergency Uterine Artery Embolization

ABSTRACT

Emergency uterine artery embolization for serious obstetrical hemorrhage has proved to be a useful technique. Protocols between obstetricians and interventional radiologists that have been established allow the effective management of these young women in what may be life-threatening situations.
