Endoscopic Resection of Extensively Calcified Esthesioneuroblastoma
This video demonstrates endoscopic resection of an extensively calcified esthesioneuroblastoma. The patient presented with several months of nasal congestion and endoscopy demonstrated a right sinonasal mass and biopsy was consistent with neuroendocrine malignancy. Endoscopic anterior skull base resection was advised. This operation required extensive drilling to remove the calcified portion of the tumor. The skull base was reconstructed with a hemipericranial flap and the patient recovered well.
