Mini-invasive Endoscopic Endonasal Transclival Approach for Clival Chordoma with Mucosa Suturing
In this video, we presented the resection of a clival chordoma using a contralateral mini-invasive endoscopic endonasal approach, preserving the mucosa of a hemi-sphenoidal sinus and using the chopsticks technique. For closure, we used the rostral mucosa suturing technique after cranialization of the sphenoidal sinus. This technique provides a valuable alternative approach to classic endoscopic approach using a pedicled flap for the skull base reconstruction, allowing a maximal preservation of nasal anatomy.
