A Case of a Massive Frontoethmoid Osteoma Resected via Draf III and Frontal Trephination
Authors
We present a case of a massive frontoethmoid osteoma in a patient with severe allergic fungal rhinosinusitis. This tumor was not amendable to a purely endoscopic surgical resection, and given the patient’s young age and concerns for the complications associated with a bicoronal craniotomy approach in this patient, we opted instead to resect via a combined approach with a frontal trephination and endoscopic Draf III to fully resect this lesion.
