Multiple approaches have been described for jugular foramen schwannomas including retrosigmoid, infratemporal fossa, translabyrinthine, and transcondylar approaches. Although the retrosigmoid approach is familiar to neurosurgeons, it provides limited access to extracranial tumor components extending to the infratemporal fossa. Here, we demonstrate the resection of a jugular foramen schwannoma with large intracranial and extracranial components through an endoscopic-assisted retrosigmoid approach. The endoscopic approach facilitated the removal of tumor within the jugular foramen and infratemporal fossa.
