Das geriatrische Assessment mit seinen validierten Instrumenten zur Beurteilung des Funktionsstatus, der Kognition und der Mobilität sowie des Ernährungsstatus und der psychischen Verfassung kann ein wichtiger Bestandteil in der Betreuung alter onkologischer Patienten sein. Diese Übersicht stellt die einzelnen Bereiche des geriatrischen Assessments vor. Besonderer Wert wird dabei auf die Darstellung validierter und gleichzeitig in der Praxis durch Delegation auch traditionell durchzuführender Testung gelegt.
