Zusammenfassung

Pragmatismus und Kinder mit Krankheitserfahrung Duncan C. Randall ist Kinderkrankenpfleger und Principal Teaching Fellow an der Universität von Southampton, England. Mit „Pragmatic Children’s Nursing“ hat er die allererste Pflegetheorie speziell für die Pflege kranker Kinder entwickelt. Erklärtes Ziel ist es, Kindern mit Krankheitserfahrungen eine Kindheit zu ermöglichen, die der von Gleichaltrigen in ihrem Umfeld so ähnlich wie möglich ist. In der JuKiP gibt der Autor eine Einführung in seine Theorie.
