Lokale Blutstillung in der prähospitalen Notfallmedizin

Großflächige und tiefe Verletzungen können in kurzer Zeit zu einem nicht abschätzbaren Blutverlust führen. Für diese Fälle steht mittlerweile eine Reihe an Hilfsmitteln bereit, welche die präklinische Blutungskontrolle erleichtern können. Insbesondere sind hier das aus dem militärischen Bereich stammende Tourniquet und Hämostyptika, also blutstillende Wundverbände und Granulate, zu erwähnen. Im Folgenden soll auf diese lokalen Maßnahmen näher eingegangen werden.
