Nach Studium des Artikels sollte den Lesern der Unterschied zwischen dentaler Erosion und erosivem Zahnhartsubstanzverlust und deren Entstehungsprozess bekannt sein. Des Weiteren sollten die Leser des Artikels eine Risikoeinschätzung für erosive Geschehnisse durchführen können sowie erosiven Zahnhartsubstanzverlust an Patienten diagnostizieren und entsprechend therapieren können.
