Im klinischen Alltag tauchen immer wieder Fragen auf, zu denen es keine klare Stellungnahme oder Empfehlung gibt. Schreiben Sie uns – wir finden Experten mit den passenden Antworten. Dieses Mal wird diskutiert, was bei der Analgosedierung von Patienten mit obstruktiver Schlafapnoe (OSA-Patienten) zu beachten ist.

Kernaussagen
  • Im Sinne einer multimodalen Analgesie sollten neben Lokalanästhetika auch Nichtopioide und Koanalgetika erwogen werden mit dem Ziel, den Opioidbedarf zu senken.

  • Grundsätzlich wird bei OSA-Patienten eine Allgemeinanästhesie mit einem gesicherten Atemweg gegenüber einer (zu) tiefen Sedierung ohne gesicherten Atemweg favorisiert.

  • Zum perioperativen Management von OSA-Patienten wird empfohlen, die Rückenlage zumindest in der postoperativen Phase zu vermeiden.
