Das MHC-Klasse-I ähnliche Molekül A (MICA) ist ein hochpolymorpher Ligand des aktivierenden NKG2D-Rezeptors natürlicher Killerzellen (NK), δγ-Zellen und natürlicher Killer-T-Zellen. MICA-Inkompatibilitäten führen zu einer erhöhten Inzidenz der Graft-versus-Host-Reaktion (GvHD). D. Fuerst et al. untersuchten nun den Zusammenhang zwischen MICA-Matching und dem Überleben nach unverwandten hämatopoietischen Stammzelltransplantationen (uHSCT).
