Die Druse ist eine hoch ansteckende Erkrankung der oberen Atemwege. Aufgrund ihrer weiten Ausbreitung und der im Erkrankungsfall für den Pferdebesitzer entstehenden Kosten stellt sich immer wieder die Frage nach einem möglichst kostensparenden, aber effizienten Ausbruchs- bzw. Krankheitsmanagement. Dieser Beitrag fasst aktuelle Erkenntnisse und Empfehlungen für das Einzeltier- bzw. Bestandsmanagement im Falle einer Druseerkrankung zusammen.
