Der Artikel gibt einen kurzen Überblick über die Mechanismen von Entzündungen und fasst Befunde zusammen, die mit Extrakten aus Weidenrinde, Brennnesselblättern und Teufelskrallenwurzel erhoben wurden.

Anti-inflammatory mechanisms of herbal medicines

The anti-inflammatory effects of herbal medicines are based on complex interaction with the immune system. The article includes a short survey on the mechanisms of inflammations and summarises results with extracts of willow bark, stinging nettle leaves and devil’s claw.
