Zusammenfassung

C. Herings Arzneimittelprüfung von Allium cepa enthält nur 35 % Prüfungssymptome, 13 % sind toxikologische Symptome und 5 % klinische Symptome. Weitere 25 % sind Nutzangaben zur Zwiebel und 22 % der Symptome kreiert Hering durch Zerteilen der Originalsymptome in Symptomenelemente. S. Hahnemann hat klinische Symptome der Alten Schule, die nicht auf dem Heilungsgesetz „similia similibus curentur“ beruhen, abgelehnt. T. F. Allen kommt 1881 zu dem Schluss, dass die Erfahrung mit der Arznei gezeigt hat, dass auf jene Weise, wie Herings Werk und die Encyclopedia angelegt wurden, keine zuverlässige Materia medica erstellt werden kann und Allium cepa eine gründliche Revision benötigt.

Der Beitrag zeigt, wie Herings Prüfung im Rahmen der Revision bearbeitet wird.

Summary

C. Hering’s drug proving of Allium cepa consists only of 35 % symptoms of drug proving, 13 % are toxicological symptoms and 5 % clinical symptoms. Additional 25 % are indications for employment of onion, and 22 % of the symptoms creates Hering by dividing the original symptoms in symptomfragments. S. Hahnemann refused clinical symptoms of the Old School which are not based on the law of healing “similia similibus curentur”. In 1881 T. F. Allen draws the conclusion that the experience with the drug demonstrated, that in such fashion as Hering’s work and the Encyclopedia were constructed a reliable Materia medica could not be compiled, and that Allium cepa needs a thorough revision.

The paper demonstrates in which way the revision deals with Hering’s proving.
