Summary

In 16 normal test persons and 18 patients with venous thrombosis a comparing study with 131I-fibrinogen was made between scintillation counting and measuring the t1/2 in the circulating blood.

With both techniques the difference in regard to normals was significant.

Measuring the t1/2, however, is more sensitive and is to be prefered.
