Unterscheidung von Fieberursachen bei ambulanten neutropenen Patienten mit Procalcitonin (PCT): Patientendifferenzierung: FUO oder bakterielle Infektion? Ambulante oder stationäre Behandlung?

Als Folge einer medikamentösen Tumorbehandlung entwickeln viele Patienten eine Neutropenie (Granulozyten ≤500/μl). Insbesondere hämatologische Patienten sind betroffen (in 90% der Fälle) (1).
