Possibilities of Scintigraphic Detection of Tumours and Damaged Tissues with the Aid of Radioactive Mercury Compounds

Die Speicherung von 197Hg-Quecksilbercysteinide wurde in vier Arten von experimentellen Tumoren untersucht. Die Ergebnisse zeigten keine höhere Tumorspeicherung im Vergleich zum 197Hg-Quecksilbertetracycline oder 197Hg-Quecksilberazetat. Die Möglichkeit einer Verwendung von 197Hg-cysteinid zur Diagnose eines Herzinfarktes wurde bestätigt.
Summary
The accumulation of mercury cysteinide-197Hg in four types of experimental tumours has been studied. The results have not shown any significantly higher accumulation in tumours than that of mercury tetracycline-197Hg.
The possibility of utilizing cysteinide-197Hg for detecting myocardial infarction was verified.
On a étudié l’accumulation du cysteinide197Hg chez les 4 types des tumeurs artificielles. On n’a pas trouvé la différence significative dans le degré d’accumulation en comparant le tetracycline197Hg avec l’acetate197Hg.
En même temps on a attesté la possibilité d’utilisation du cysteinide197Hg pour la détermination d’infarcte du myocarde.
