Stadienorientierte operative Verfahren bei arthrotischen Gelenken

Zusammenfassung

Wird bei einer Gelenkarthrose die Lebensqualität deutlich beeinträchtigt und kann keine ausreichende Verbesserung durch konservative Behandlungsmethoden erzielt werden, stehen eine Vielzahl von operativen Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Eine Übersicht der gängigen operativen Verfahren, deren Besonderheiten und deren spezielle Indikationsstel-lung wird vorgestellt.

Summary

If the quality of life of patients with osteoarthritis is dramatically reduced and conservative treatments fail to change this for the better, orthopaedic surgery may be necessary. Due to the enormous number of different implants and techniques, this article demonstrates an overview about the most common surgical strategies and their special indications.
