The experience, over thirty-three years, in a homeopathic clinic in a large public hospital

Background:

In 1983, the current clinic was founded as a unity. In 1997, it reached the present status. Since its foundation, it has been working without interruption. In the beginning, the patients care was directed by protocols, passing on gradually to free demand and/or sent to other disciplines. The clinic is attended by student doctors who are doing post-graduation, supervised by teachers and monitors. The main objective of this work is to give an overview of the basics of care, kind of patients, pathologies and results. Beyond that, to show what is required to maintain a homeopathic clinic in a hospital of this size.

Method:

Population studies have been conducted to profile analysis of patients and pathologies, recording of images to illustrate the physical situation, medical care, the flow of service and the level of patients-satisfaction.

Results:

The results pointed out show a high degree of success, both in respect to the homeopathic treatment itself, as well as the maintenance and enlargement of the service.

Conclusions:

A solid and reproducible homeopathic model, the participation of post-graduate students, good clinical outcomes and institutional support are essential ingredients for a homeopathic service in a large hospital.

1983 wurde die derzeitige Klinik als Einheit gegründet. 1997 erreichte sie den jetzigen Status. Seit ihrer Gründung arbeitet sie ohne Unterbrechung. Am Anfang wurde die Patientenversorgung durch organisatorische Leitlinien gelenkt, allmählich der freien Nachfrage geöffnet und/oder an andere Disziplinen weitergeleitet. In der Klinik behandeln junge approbierte Ärzte, die wiederum von Lehrern und Supervisoren begleitet werden. Das Hauptziel dieser Arbeit ist es, einen Überblick über die Grundlagen der Behandlung, die Art der Patienten, Krankheitsbilder und Ergebnisse zu geben und darüber hinaus zu zeigen, was erforderlich ist, um eine homöopathische Klinik in einem Krankenhaus dieser Größe aufrechtzuerhalten.

Methodik:

Populationsstudien wurden durchgeführt zur Profilanalyse von Patienten und Krankheitsbildern, zur Ableitung von Darstellungen, um den körperlichen Zustand, die medizinische Versorgung, den Ablauf der Behandlung und die Zufriedenheit der Patienten zu illustrieren.

Ergebnisse:

Die Ergebnisse zeigten ein hohes Maß an Erfolg sowohl in Bezug auf die homöopathische Behandlung selbst als auch auf die Erhaltung und die Erweiterung des homöopathischen Angebots.

Schlussfolgerung:

Ein solides und reproduzierbares homöopathisches Modell. Die Beteiligung von Ärzten in der Weiterbildung, gute klinische Ergebnisse und institutionelle Unterstützung sind wesentliche Bestandteile eines homöopathischen Angebots in einem großen Krankenhaus.
